Angry failed camera driver

Hi,
Just purchased an Orion StarShoot Pro on trying to load software to my HP Vista Home for my Celestron CPC1100 [gps goto] telescope After a supposedly successful load & trying to use same I get the error mesage "Maxim DL Essentials Edition Version 1.09
Camera Control not Loaded" Each attempted to load remains in same outcome. On contacting Orion the help was all but useless!
PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZZZZZZZZZEEEEEEEEE help A very exssive itemfor these goings on!
Many Thanks
Norm

Not too sure about the Orion, and equally in the dark about Vista, but I would hazard a guess that Vista may be the issue, as lots of items don't play well with it.
Go back to where you got the Orion from and see what they suggest.

Same old story, with Vista, the most useless program they have ever produced, see if you can (downgrade), as Micrsoft call it to XP, you will be right then.

How are you trying to use the camera?
What drivers did you install?

Ummm....not sure, but I thought that I had heard there was a problem with the Orion and the drivers and Ascom or something. Have you tried Orion's web site for updates. I think it's www.telescope.com but not sure on that either. Also, I would upgrade to XP, just to tick Vista off!!
I'll ask through our Society, think they had this problem, will take a couple of days though.
