Mains Power for Canon EOS DSLRs

I have both a 300D (modd'd) and a sexy new 1000D (unmodd'd) that I am planning on using for some long exposure work. I was wondering what others are using to power their cameras in lieu of batteries. A quick scan of EBay didn't turn up any mains power adapters but I'm sure there are some. And I am sure there are some ingenious mods being done to batteries with their innards replaced by something or other. ANyone got any ideas?
Thanks

Peter.

Here's the Canon AC adaptor for the 300D. Couldn't find one for the 1000D

Thanks for that link Peter. Unfortunately they are out of stock. The search continues.

I got my AC adapter for my 350D from Ebay, they seem to show up now and again there (not available all the time). I'm sure its probably similar with those Canon models you have.

Thanks Mike,
yep, went down that road myself. Also found one for my 300D - a bit dearer but they're as rare as rocking-horse dung at the moment so I guess that's the price you pay.
