Outstanding shot of peaks and glaciers. Right on the coast. Wonder what the seeing is like from the observatory up there.

That's why The Lake Tekapo region is an International Dark Sky Reserve and Mt John Observatory is located there.
Thoroughly recommended as a beautiful area to visit for more than the clear dark skies.
