Coronado PST

[Sale pending]
Unfortunately this is a rusted Coronado PST with its original hard carry case from 2006 for $150 + postage. There are at least two things that can be done with this rusted Coronado PST: get it fixed via Meade or consider this upgrade

If not sold, I'll buy at your price for a PST mod.
Let me know.

On the early build PST they had an energy rejection coating (ERF) on the objective, unfortunately for Coronado the coating process appears to have been defective. After a while it would deteriorate and breakdown - this looks like "rust" hence the term "rusty coatings"
The good news for PST owners is that this defect only affected the first batches and was repaired free of charge by Meade under the 5 year warranty. The subsequent PST's were redesigned and now have a trouble free "blue" coated objective.
