Comet Leonard in outburst December 24

There's been a huge increase in activity of comet C/2021 A1 (Leonard) tonight December 24. The ion tail has multiple streamers and it's much brighter.

12" F4.5, Pentax K-5, 31x20 seconds (left) and ED80 at F4.5, Canon 1100D 24x 20 seconds (right). Modified NEQ6 Pro.

Nice image mate, lucky you got this one in before the rain this morning. Your not imaging this comet from your back yard? From a window?

Thanks Mick. From the observatory in the backyard. There's a gap in the trees I can spot it from! 30mm overnight!

Thanks Anthony. Unfortunately this will be my last for quite some time due to cloud streaming over and forecast to continue for at least a week.
