USB 2.0 B type 4 port with pins at the rear

I tripped over a USB cable in my observatory the other night and it damaged the USB 2.0 type B port on my mount.

I thought I had a replacement part but the one I have has the 4 pins on the underneath of the port whereas the one I need needs to have the pins at the rear of the port.

Like these:

I've ordered some from overseas but it's going to take 2-3 weeks.

Can anyone suggest an Aussie supplier? I tried Jaycar and they only have the same type as I already have.

Greg.

That site seems to mainly sell traffic bollard and barriers etc.

I did a search for USB 2.0 B ports and nothing came up.

Just an update on this. I got the correct USB 2.0 Type B with vertical pins from element14.com.au.

I just installed it and it all went well and the patient/mount has made a full recovery! Thanks to a You Tube video.

Now to get back to getting the spacing correct for the AP130 Quad TCC reducer/compressor.

Full moon tonight. A good time for adjusting gear.

Greg.
