The Sun today in Ca K

Today’s observing session in Ca K with an 80mm refractor was a frustrating experience. Aside from the fickle seeing the Sun was covered with a high altitude narrow lengthy cloud which moved continuously over my target. The remaining 90% of sky was cloudless.
Plans to observe in Ha were abandoned after the cloud thickened up.

Gerard,
A very nice and well presented series of CaK images.
I, like many others, clouded out.....

Thanks guys for your kind comments. They are much appreciated. To be honest, when I saw that cloud I almost threw my hands up and gave it away. I pushed on though knowing that in past experience there were times that it would clear up just to spite me after packing up.
