Tube to suit an 8" OTA. Perfect for someone looking to build their own scope.
This is made from aluminium tube and thus weighs about 1/3 rd of a steel tube. It is 80mm longer than a standard tube to assist with stray light hitting the secondary. The internal diameter is approx 230mm,and it also has the secondary spider holes drilled as is the focuser hole.
The focuser hole is 60mm diameter and the 4 focuser mounting holes are 70mm apart.
This was made by Mick Pinner (IIS member). I picked it up from him hoping to put together a small 8" setup, but my limited time has got me doing other projects.
Pickup Only from Sunbury, Vic. I do work shiftwork, so weekdays as well as weekends can be accommodated.
