Rho Ophiuchi

I had to double check the spelling

This is made up from 6 tiles and it was very difficult to stitch together.

Each panel had a slightly different hue.

Sort of got there in the end....

You have done a good job of stitching the frames together, a fair bit of work involved no doubt. Rho Ophiuchus is such a great area, one of the most spectacular regions , not so apparent visually but images really bring out the diversity of objects.

Peter,
Superb image of a difficult target
You’ve captured and processed this one extremely well to bring out all the gas and dust details with great contrast
Should be posted down the bottom
Well done !!!

Thanks Jeff, it has been a great learning curve. There are a few ways of doing it, some work, some don't.
But whatever way you do it, it takes a lot of time, and maticulous record keeping...

I think all sections here need support in fact probably many members must need support given the impact of covid on so many. I expect for many they can't go anywhere and probably the covid hanging over all activity must dampen ones desire to even image.
I will do my best to contribute something new but I have many hurdles in my way and after my last reprocessing effort the shine has gone out of doing that..maybe if I start something will kick in and I can come up with something to put here.
I may look for early efforts to remind passers by that beginners are welcome.
So just thinking about posting but unsure..well please post something you new folk as this section is for you so use the opportunity to publish your efforts.
Sorry Peter for tramping on your post if it upsets you in any way pm me and I will edit this and perhaps start a thread.
Again great photo and a region I hope to try out the new gear upon very soon.
Alex

Nice one Peter. Must have been a challenge to mosaic. That Nebulosity is quite subtle and difficult to image. I could barely see it in a 5min sub.
