I think it may be understated, August 1975 62 reservoirs broke drowning approx 28,000 people.

But who can say what really happens!

Yes most likely.

I saw that link earlier- it's the same video as the 3rd link I posted, but with a different address.

Germany, Austria and Italy have equally been devastated by floods.

For context, I read that more rain fell in an hour in China than fell in three days in Germany!

In context the death toll in Germany has been higher ... regardless, Floods are devastating wherever they occur. Northern Hemisphere isn't having a great time at the moment disaster wise.

Yes very true Hans...I had started off flood viewing with Germany and had met to mention it as well...an oversite on my part...even though it was early it was past my bedtime and I guess a bit scattered.

It is all just so terrible the suffering and fear the lives that are destroyed. I wish I was some all powerful entity such that I could save all those lives and prevent the suffering.

You wouldn't know what the death toll in China actually is.

Hello,

Stalled weather events are horrific, weather it be from heat or rain. The northern hemisphere seems to be slightly ahead for these stationary systems though.

The El Nino of 2012 in Australia, left so much rain behind in central Australia, it took us nearly a year to work out where the extra 1mm of expected sea level rise went that year... That's a lot of water, 1mm of the world expected sea level rise - but luckily in an empty area for us.

Russian fires are about 3-4 times larger than the US ones atm as well, and the temp. records for Siberia etc are unreal now-a-days. Add in Japan...
