I remember Gulf War 1 in the early 90's. Australian Navy were departing from Fremantle and we had 24 Hour air operations going as they departed. Threw everything at them ... F-111's, F-18 Hornets ... Macchi's

I would have been on the receiving end at some point, HMAS DARWIN - Damask V, early 1992 enforcing ongoing sanctions against Iraq... we worked up from Sydney to Fremantle...
