Anyone here live in Melbourne metro area?

Just wondering if anyone here lives in Melbourne metro area.I have seen something on ebay I want, but the seller will not post.but will deliver to this area.

(I regularly see that many ebay sellers do not send items, and only offer pick up only),cannot see the point of selling stuff on ebay if people do that.

Anyhow-I want this http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/250894144...#ht_1278wt_905

And if anyone might be able to help send it up,I'd be most appreciated.

Or offer suggestion of some sort of courier that could pick up,and send to QLD

thanks Chris

How do you propose to post them once picked up?

Melbourne's a pretty big city, you might need to specify that the seller is in Brunswick?

I'm happy enough to help and live close to Brunswick. I propose posting to you in a piece of conduit or a postpak roll.

Only snag is I'm away from 27/09 till 11/10

will help if I can

I live near Brunswick and can help to pick up and send them over. Might even give them a test over the weekend, only kidding .
Assuming you are paying for postage?
Pack and Send is a company that's pretty good.
PM me if you are keen.
Bo
PS: I will be away first week of Oct.

Thanks 'Traveller' and 'Niko'

I might take either one of you up on the offer of help to send up (Assuming I win the bid-which all likely hood is most unlikely-these rods tend to make many
more bids than I can usually afford).

The seller was helpful-he did offer and look into AP postage, but that was not an option,as the rods even when broken down into their two pieces was 1.15 m long 10 cm too long for AP to handle.

I have had couriers bring stuff up from Vic,I get modern day comercial rods for the shop-no dramas, the send'em up in great tubes (make good telescope making projects).

Anyhow will look into it all,and PM you, with details and get frieght payment to you.If won.-By all means take one out and try!

Thanks for help IIS members-regards Chris
