Star Adventurer - east heavy..? What about down under?

Simple question...

A lot of forums i read talk about loading the Star Adventurer so its slightly 'east-heavy' but surely that changes depending on which hemisphere you are in..

Anyone in the southern hemisphere know if this should actually be 'west' heavy?

My two cents

I would say its still east heavy down under as well as the stars still rise in the east just like in the northern hemisphere.

I always load mine just a little east heavy and it works well.

Regards
Chris

Thanks that helps.

So stars in the northern hemisphere rotate counter-clockwise around the NCP, whereas they rotate clockwise around the SCP in the southern hemisphere.

Cheers

They still rotate around the NCP counter clockwise regardless of where you are, if you "look at the NCP" eg through the ground, the stars above the horizon will be rotating around that point CCW.
