Can you recommend a transport provider?

Hi all,

I'm looking to ship an Esprit 150 interstate. I've got quotes from Pack 'n' Send & TNT at this stage & I'm leaning towards TNT on the basis that I had a similar item shipped by them previously without incident.
Are there any transport providers you can recommend? Thanks in advance.

Cheers,
Tony

I use Interparcel, it is a national booking service, you just go to their website and input the weight and dimensions, and the pickup address and destination, and they will give you a selection of well known carriers that they have arrangements with, TNT is one, as is Couriers Please, Startrack, etc. They send you pdf files for the Waybills, Address Labels, etc, you nominate a pick up date. Driver signs your docket on pickup. You can choose to insure it if you wish. Very reasonable service cost wise and usually fast.

Thanks Glen, I appreciate your input.

Hello,

Star track is striking atm, there will be some backlog while they clear the strike action delays. No idea on what the plans are for strike action but you might want to check the news for an update prior to sending with Star track.

Looks like I'm going with TNT at this stage.
Thanks all for your input.

If you book it through Pack&Send it will still be carried by TNT.
I recommend the Depot to Depot service, less people handling it the better.

Plus one for Pack & Send - never had an issue in MANY MANY years using them.

Aramax (Fastway) are hopeless. eGo are less than useless most of the time (failed to pick up my items 3 times). Couriers Please have been erratic too.

Good point Matt, these were the reasons I opted for TNT in the end & Pack 'n' Send were almost $100 more expensive as well.
Thanks for commenting,

Thanks for your input Lewis, I'd have to say Pack & Send have proved reliable for me in the past also & I agree with your comments on the others. E-Go, Truck it & the like are not worth the trouble imo.
Cheers,
Tony
