Hi David, do you still have the Argo navis for sale?
I have an early SDM 22" Dob made by Peter Read and it still has the encoders installed on it but the controller has been taken off. I am not sure of the model that was installed. I don't know if the encoders are specific to the controller or can be adapted to the Argo Navis? Either way I am still interested in buying yours if you still have it for sale.
