Pickering's Triangle

Took this last weekend . It was taken in borte 4 where I was standing and a bortle 8 where the target was . It was super low and had to shoot through the nice bright skyline of Gladstone's industrial lights .

Manged to get 35 light subs at 300sec with the zwo 294pro . Gain was set to 120 and I was using an optolong Xtreme filter .

35 x light subs at 300 sec,
40 x dark subs at 300 sec

Processed with DSS gimp and a light touching in lightroom

Nice work, Kuz. That's a really difficult target. It doesn't break 25 degrees above the horizon here in Sydney, so you guys wouldn't be much more than that?
Lots of detail picked up, more than I expected.

Thanks PK and Adam. I was trying to do a starless randention but for some reason I can't get my gimp files to work in starnett ++, the demo pictures work but never the gimp ones. framing wasn't the best But still happy . Hopefully get a few nights straight over the next month.
