Bretti???

Is there anyone interested to go to Bretti for the weekend 21 to 23 April?

The long range weather forecast looks good for now.

We warned, going to Bretti during NSW School Holidays, is a bad idea. Kids go back to school on the 24th.
I am speaking from experience, been there during school holidays, and the place is packed. There is a particular social club from Newcastle that sends in an advance party prior to Easter to stake out their turf, they bring everything: a big marquee, a shower trailer, pumps to bring water up from the river, they bring lots of bright LED area lights and leave them on most of the night (for security), lots of noise, they cut a cricket pitch into the paddock, expect noisey power toys, RC cars, bikes, etc. From an astronomy point of view its a nightmare when they arrive. They set up exactly where the Ice In Space crew usually setup.
I suggest another month.

A good point, I didn't take school holidays into account.

Let's forget about this then.

Chris,

I'm happy to re-schedule for 14 - 18 May, it is even a better time.
