Weather maps were very promising but in reality conditions were up & down like a yo-yo. But here's the best of a fairly ordinary bunch taken between patches of cloud.
Pic 1: GRS in view and IO just off to the side (good seeing)
Using the asi294mc and 2.5x powermate - Setup like this cause I was trying to get a pic of the ISS with a larger fov (ISS pic failed dismally btw)
Pic 2: IO in transit (conditions deteriorating)
Using the asi224mc 1.8x barlow, ADC, UV/IR cut
Pic 3: ISS take2 @ about 30deg (18.10.21)
Handtracked with asi294mc with IR685 filter
After my failed first attempt I got total 8 frames with the ISS in view on my second go (well at least I improved
). Darn hard to hand-track satellites on an EQ mount!! Going to have to do some more research on this...
All taken with the 10" LX50
