My cancer.

Having told a few people that today was the day I got another scan and to have the cancer doctor go over the 'photo" I am very happy to report that we are winning...the reason I cant walk ( very sore swollen feet) and my fingers have severe problems with my fingers ( a few blister like things that mean I can't use that finger, only the two small ones on each hand work...you should see me holding a knife and fork with the little fingers..)...these issues are because of the meds but given things are going very well I can stop for a week and then reduce the dose by 40% (approximately) so this should see me actually using the new gear new Moon week..see how damn lucky I am.

Well that is good news Alex. Not sure if congratulations is an appropriate word for this but well done to you, your family and your medical team.

Great news Alex, and once you sort out that med dosage you will be good to get that observatory fired up. Hopefully we will soon hear the lovely word Remission applied to your condition soon.

Thank you all for your kindness and taking your time to make a contribution as I greatly appreciate the fact that you have done so.

As you all probably gather I have very little contact with people in the real world so I find it is extremely touching that I have so many people here who, although I have only met now three in person, I regard as friends.

I find it very difficult to talk to people in the real world as I simply dont run into folk whose interests match mine.
Thank you all so very much.
Alex

Alex, it has been beaut that you have been able to share the journey foolishly I locked myself away, something that I now truly regret.
Stay well. Greg.

Thanks everyone...lets hope the rest of my story is about the observatory and how everything works like a Swiss watch.
AND Greg never regret a thing..you cant change things and chewing over it will never help.

I find self talk is very influential so rather than talk bad stuff I talk in terms of everything being fine and so often it is not but your mind believes what you tell it and creates your personal reality ...you may notice I see myself as the luckiest man on the planet and I actually believe that and so life goes great for me...
Thanks again to all who took the time to show me their kindness.
Alex
