Clear nights have been back in Melbourne for the past few days so I've been trying to get my setup sorted out. Below is my best result so far.

A lot of youtube videos talk about shooting movies instead of taking individual exposures and after some manual reading I've finally figured out how to do that with my camera. Excited to try again tonight.

Gear:

Telescope: Saxon 10 Inch Reflector Dob Mount
Camera: Panasonic Lumix G7 Micro Four Thirds
Camera Adapter: Kowa T-Mount for Micro Four Thirds
Lenses: SkyWatcher 2x 1.25” Achromatic Barlow Lens w/ Camera Adapter
Remote Control: Panasonic ImagApp Remote Control

Settings:

Shutter Speed: 1/100
ISO: 400
Format: RAW

Method:

I used this video as a guide:https://youtu.be/IZ8gMr6X4sc
75 individual exposures
Sorted, centered and turned into a movie in PIPP.
Stacking and wavelet processing in Registax
