Quasar J1134-2103 in Crater.

Had a shot at this recently discovered quad lensed quasar (The Diamond) in Crater around magnitude 15.9, so relatively easy through the 18 inch scope, but last nights conditions weren't the best (high humidity, so a lot of dew) but still an easy spot. Using 12mm and 9mm UWA eyepieces, I was able to quickly find the location star hopping from Zeta Crater and on to HD 100934. Once there, was able to follow a few asterisms to the quasar field. Spotting the quasar at magnitude 15.9 was easy and it was visible with direct vision constantly, not bad for something with a light travel time of 11.5 billion years. This one could be visible in 12 to 14 inch scopes with averted vision.
Some specs.
V mag=15.9
Z= 2.77 (11.5 GLy's) (Kempner Cosmological calculator)
RA 11 34 40.58
Dec -21 03 23.2
Constellation chart courtesy S&T PSA
The finder charts I made using Wikisky and CdS Portal.

So had another look last night and comparing to magnitude estimates, the quasar is magnitude 15.9, definitely fainter than the 15.8 star and brighter than the 16.2 one. The mag listed on the last chart is incorrect.

Yes, I'd try them myself, but I do not have the aperture to reach the quasar.
