Help needed with Lodestar guider

I have a SXV CCD (Starlight Xpress). It is one of those with an unusual 18 pin Flat connector that has a corresponding cable connecting to a Lodestar guide cam. The guide cam has only the flat 18 pin connector - No ST4 or power. It all comes from the man CCD.
My problem is my Lodestar no longer connects and I’m endeavouring to figure out whether the problem lies in the cable or the CCD or the Lodestar. Terry Platt at SX tells me the cable connectors are prone to breakages but I cannot see anything amiss there. And I am unable to test the Lodestar alone.

Does anyone out there have a SXV CCD and would be willing to test my cable and Lodestar on their SXV? I’ll post it down and cover return post of course.

Peter,
I have and use the Lodestar on my spectroscope.
Drop me a PM and we can arrange testing.

Unfortunately, it turns out that Ken’s Lodestar differs from mine - different generation of Lodestar with different plugs - so he is not able to help despite his generous offer.

So the request is still there. And to be clear, I have posted an image ofbthe cable in question.
