John

I repair losmandy G1/G2 gear and have screens for these (especially hard to get the older screens). The older first ver screens are soldered in, but in anycase best its sent for repair.

Cheaper than a replacement. I can test them with my equipment

I'm definitely interested. Did you want me to send you photos of the controller.
The digitiser on the screen was failing and I got a bit heavy handed trying to fix it and put a crack in the screen. it will need a new screen element but as far as I know all the other parts are fine.

Message me prices and we will start the process.

Thanks

John I have all screen types, there are 3 versions (of LCD displays) so pretty much doesn't matter. I'm guessing its an older ver with the display soldered onto the sub PCB carrier.

They are easy to crack you have to be so careful with them. Been repairing G1s for ever and G2s for years. At first I was reluctant to do repairs to the HC due to parts complexity and even I couldn't get a HC schematic (though made my own) but gave in when users started cracking screens etc. Have repaired a few since, always screens.

In a way you lucky I managed to purchase the last of those first version screens worldwide

Anyway PM sent
