Astro modded Canon 50D

This camera is about 13 years old and I’m the original owner but last used it myself about 8 years ago when I moved to a QHY.

It was purchased brand new and immediately sent to Germany to be modified by Baader. Comes with a few accessories like spare battery, 12v power cable with dummy battery etc.

$380 plus postage. Free collection in Brisbane.

I’ll see if I can hook it up to the EOS utility but it certainly was only ever used for Astro typically 5 mins exposures so even a whole night was never a lot and astronomy doesn’t even happen more than a handful of nights really. It must be fairly low but not sure what.

EOS Utility won't really help with an actual shutter count, you need something like Canon EOS Digital Info (https://sourceforge.net/projects/can...-digital-info/). Like you, I'm not expecting it to be too high as it's only ever been used for astro.

The mod was a Baader mod, so not full spectrum?

Cheers,
Mark

Canon

Apologies for the delay but have been busy at work. I did check the shutter count. 14,826 if I recall +/- 100
