Lets speculate with fantacy.

So sitting here somewhat bored I post this for others who may feel similar or taking a break and are happy to indulge some sillyness...OK you have been given the gift to change an attribute of humans, ...prevent them from ever killing for example...or not chewing gum...what would you change with humans to make the world a better place...I will start...I would make it so humans are incapable of telling a lie....

I think I would get rid of our tribal tendencies.

Imagine - no wars, no bigotry, no political partisanship, the possibility to co-operate on a global scale to solve global problems.

Unfortunately, a lot of local co-operation depends on tribalism, so it's just a fantasy, but I do think the worst of human behavior stems from tribalism. It is both bane and boon.

.... I'd give the ability, to every human, to only be able to calculate using BODMAS....
Only then, will all be right in the world.

I often wonder about being able to see the entire EMS and can only conclude all you would monitor in your mind is a fog...you would need the additional ability to select particular wavelengths but all together must turn out fog like..I dont know but I have thought about it a great deal.
I need a cateract operation and plan to ask if there are any "special" lens available ..what no xray
why not...maybe a lens t fix my colour blindness.

Thank you Leon. I guess then that plot would not be based on a true life story... Although I could maybe be who they were thinking of

I found that it was always easier to tell the truth and face the consequences and get it over with....almost all of the time. But when she asks "does this dress make me look fat" I think it is ok to perhaps say " no not at all, you are not fat for goodness sake, where did you get such a silly idea"

Alex, we really have to work on your movie exposure.

Jim Carrey .. Comedian .. plays a lawyer in the movie Liar Liar whom, for 24 hours, cannot tell a lie.

I have extensive exposure to movies Hans. Yesterday I watched the fall of various civilisations and one on the bronze age collapse, one I highly recommend. The day before quiet a few on motor protein which really are hard to beat and not to forget one on mitacondria, and another on the history of canons in warfare.

Anonymity

Hello,

Missus thought greed, but that's a driver. In this day and age and where we're going as a society, I'll have "Anonymity".

Individuals to a national level, your actions are known and accountable. You can still have your privacy, but you go out making statements in a public space virtual or real life you can be known. #realperson.

Steve
Ps. Movies are so much better outside of hollywood, unless you want the CGI stuff and a big screen, then they're are hard to beat.

Seriously Dave, be careful what you wish for. For example, RB becomes:
Bruce Biggachickensouvlakiwithouzoopolis.

Try saying that after a feed of chicken (hormone enhanced) souvlaki and a bottle of ouzo.

Another vote for getting rid of tribalism. For a better world with humans that is. Without, just take away their ability to reproduce.
