Giant sun spot formed

For those who observe and can see this "sun" thing...

"There is a giant Sunspot at the moment, around 3x the size of the Earth.

Regards,

Matthew X"

Ps. For NASA near live footage* - https://sdo.gsfc.nasa.gov/data/
*Stanford the housing for some of the data is currently getting blackouts though...

Thanks for that!
This was a good exercise for my very recently arrived solar filter.
Kept magnification low due to brisk northerlies.
Despite slight cloud cover, it was quite impressive to look at, with nice detail and texture.
(My total solar observation experience is about 30 minutes, so I can't expound too much )

Regards, Andrew

PS I am using a Celestron Evo 6. I found the sun by minimizing its shadow, and put a sock over the red dot finder so as not to inadvertently look through it. No auto tracking as yet, just the hand control for manual adjustment. The sun is indeed fascinating.
