Nah, ordering from US and anywhere else that uses DHL or FedEx is still fine.

USPS has been useless for ages now, hasn't it?

I'm getting stuff from B&H in New York in under a week as of last week.

Yep, the private courier companies are fine. Amazon just delivered one of my parcels via DHL. The rest will be coming the same way.

FedEx lost the contents of one of my parcels once.
It caused me a great deal of grief.
What was inside was of no value to anyone but me.
If it was a Rolex watch stolen -
I would have understood but it wasn't anything a thief would have wanted.
They never found my item.
Their tracking service was hopeless to find it -
they just didn't care.

Yeah. I recently wanted to purchase from Don (Starman1), but shipping by UPS killed everything and USPS stopped sending to Australia. Had to order from Europe.

Not always the case with DHL either at the moment. Still waiting for a tripod head adjuster to show movement from Frankfurt. According to tracking it has now been sitting there since Sept 14th.
DHL's response to Berlebach (the sender) was to say they will investigate, but could be up to 5 weeks before they will reply with an outcome!
I'm still hoping that DHL have used alternative shipping (sea) to circumvent the lack of flights, but even so, there should have been more tracking details by now.
Ironically, another parcel sent by Berlebach 2 days earlier using DHL arrived within 13 days.
