Good Seeing (finally) on Friday night.

Managed to grab a couple of planetary images on Friday night.
This is the first of them.

Scope: Skywatcher MN190
Camera: ZWO ASI120MC
Televue 4x Powermate.

Captured about 12000 frames and stacked the best 25%.

This is my best attempt at Jupiter so far.
(* edit uploaded new version with improved colour balance *)

C & CC welcome as always.

Looks good Pete. Hope it stays clear for the upcoming occultations.

Nice one Pete

Were you shooting through a CLS filter? It’s sporting a trendy teal tint

Thanks Dunk!

No CLS filter I'm afraid - just a lack of experience in colour balancing planetary images.
Appreciate the feedback on that.

No worries Pete, Jupiter gives us a bit of a hand this year as the white zones are wider, so what I would do is zoom in on those areas while colour balancing and get them as white white as you can. Everything else will follow
