Last Lagoon

As this object heads west from my location, it gets consumed by Melbourne's suburban glow. It's already past the meridian just after astronomical twilight so this will be my last go at it for 2021. Continuous Lockdowns in Melbourne prevent me from taking my rig to a dark sky, so Bortle 6/7 skies I have to endure until restrictions ease.

This was shot through a 6 inch f 5 Newtonian and my old faithful modded Canon 550d. I added 24 mins of Ha before it dipped into the trees just to give it a bit of spark but I may have overdone the saturation. Ha was a stack of 16 x 90 secs subs @3200iso and to start the session I shot 50 x 60 secs UV/IR cut subs @800iso, all unguided on my newly belt driven HEQ5pro mount.

Thanks Pete, yes, I may use the data as additional fodder for the future, however if I get a chance to shoot this target at a dark sky site next year, then adding this data might degrade the new data!
