ALERT! Jupiter impact, 15th/16th October, any Australian observations?

There was another impact flash on Jupiter, detected late on the 15th October in Japan, visible from Australia! The impact was discovered by observers of the OASES project (video at link).

It occurred at 15:24UT on the 15th (00:24 AEDT on the 16th), and Jupiter was around 40deg elevation from eastern Australia. If you were imaging around that time, please check your videos! Any additional observations will be valuable, regardless of the aperture of scope.

There is more imformation and email addresses to submit information at the PVOL alert, or reply to me and I can forward the information to Ko, Ricardo and Marc.
