Antares f/6.3 SCT focal reducer

This is an f/6.3 focal reducer with a thread to fit to the visual back of an SCT (works with Celestron C6 to C14, but I'm not sure if Meade uses the same thread).

The diagonal/camera side also has the same SCT thread, to attach other SCT-compatible gear such as a diagonal, OAG or SCT-T2 adapter (I may have one of these for sale if you need one).

The focal length of this lens is roughly 220mm, leading to a necessary distance of 82mm from the front of the reducer to the imaging camera’s sensor; this leaves around 49mm of distance from the back of the reducer to your imaging sensor.

I've tested it for visual use and it seems to work as expected with no obvious detriment to image quality. Note that even though it is labeled as a "reducer/corrector" any field correction seems to be very minimal and off-axis distortions present without the reducer don't appear to be noticeably improved with it fitted.

It's the same as this one that retails for about AU$185 in the UK. https://www.rothervalleyoptics.co.uk...l-reducer.html
