Astroart7 setup

Folks,
Tonight I tried to set up AA for image capture.
I went to camera setup and successfully connected my QHY8l camera.
I then went to "telescope" an read through the telescope list.
At one stage I saw reference to my Sidereal technology mount.

I needed to restart AA and again the camera was Ok but now the Sitech telescope did not appear in the telescope list.

As an absolute beginner with AA I don't know what I have done to cause this.
Can anyone guide me?

Sitech quite happily uses AA for image capture when building a plate solved
mount model so the pair do communicate.

Solution

With some blind poking around my Sitech mount is selected.

AA presents a telescope list :-simulate, ASCOM and several reconisable entries, several Mead entries, shoestring , EQMOD and others.
So I selected ASCOM and then clicked connect. a list of ASCOM compatible mounts are presented and the Sitech mount can be selected.

Logical, but not intuitively obvious, at least to me.
Next to unpark and start tracking and then capture control.
I will read the first page of the Hitch Hikers Guide and not panic.

Chris,
Glad you got things sorted out.
Having never used a Sitech mount I didn't want to comment.
