Monitor calibration software?

anyone know of some free/cheap monitor calibration software?

Anything anybody could recommend?

I just came across this program, I haven't installed it yet but I'm sure it will do a good job.

A much better solution, but not free (but cheap), is using a Pantone Huey.

I've nattered on about this many times in the past, but it is a very cheap and accurate solution really.

For $99 (or $189 for the Pro version if you've got multiple monitors), it does a great job.

Apparently there is one bundled with photoshop if you have a version prior to CS3 - Adobe Gamma.

My Dell laptop has great colour response , so does my Samsung TFT monitor.

Try the instructions here http://www.sedonawolf.com/New_Acqs/Monitor.htm

or

(Haven't used it BTW).
