Jewlbox and Omega Cent

These two are first light for a Moravian C1X-26000 with ASA10N scope.
There's some tilt to be eliminated, but it's not too bad on these crops.

NGC 4755 exposure 12 x 60 sec each of RGB. FOV 60' x 52'. (Central 20% of sensor area).
NGC 5139 exposure as above plus 12 x 60 sec L. FOV 88' x 75'.
Gain 1.
Best seeing 1.7". Average 2.3". SQM 20.9
Processed in PI and PS.

Thanks Mark,
that's a good rendition of the Jewel Box.
The colours are just right - blue stars and the bright orange star.

It's a very pretty target with any visual telescope -
and so easy to find.

cheers
Allan

Allan and Mirko,
Thanks for the comments. I've looked at the Jewelbox many times, but never imaged it before....Mirko - of course it's OK

Nicely done on both Mark. It is exciting to see the jewel box jump out of the processing isn't it

Two lovely sparkling shots Mark but I'd love to see larger files though, feels frustratingly like I'm not seeing the full beauty at the size posted

Love the Jewel Box image. Those stars jump out and grab your eyeballs.

Thanks for your comments.

The Jewelbox is a sweet target - and so quick and easy to grab. I guess I've been fixated on galaxies and nebulae since I started astrophootography, so this was a nice surprise for me....
Mike, sorry about the compressed images. I have been focused on print images, but I guess I need to do something about this!
Regards,
Mark
