Transit from Ryde (Sydney)

Well, decided to work from home and have been hopping back and forth between my work laptop and the balcony. At one point I forgot about the scope and it got a light sprinkle of rain, but no harm done.

Was using a white light filter but messed around with colour filters to enhance the granulation. This pic was taken by simply holding a point & shoot camera to the eyepiece.

Equipment was a Stellarvue SV80ED, Baader Hyperzion 8-24mm zoom at 16mm with stacked yellow, orange and green filters.

It's no masterpiece but still a nice record of the event.
