The sunspot has been designated AR2887.
I've added some images which show the earth roughly to scale and an image of AR2886.

Nice Richard.
Something to watch out for- good to see the earth comparison. I was explaining this to my sister recently I guess this will help her visualise the scale. Mind boggling to imagine really.
