Omega Centauri

Hi all

Decided to try Omega Centauri last night under 78% moon illumination.
A new target for me, and I've never shot anything besides nebula so this was fun. I was torn between Gain 0 and Gain 100 but settled on my usual Gain 100 this time. Maybe next time I'll try Gain 0. The histogram just didn't look good with the latter.

I noticed some CA which I guess is just part and parcel of owning a doublet. Maybe The Fathers Day Fairy will bring me a triplet?

Cheers, Leon! I honestly didn't think this target was so big as well. Really love looking at it, it's such a cool object.

Adam,
Hang this one in your living room 👍👍👍
Excellent Omega resolved and well processed down to the core
Well done indeed !!!
My only suggestion would be to reduce the saturation a bit on your Star colours , blue and orange stars are a tad rich but that’s only my opinion

A very well resolved 5139 Adam, my thoughts are shared with Martin, ease back on the colour saturation to make it more natural looking. This will also reduce the effects of the CA you were concerned about.

Thanks Martin and Michael. I pushed the saturation to hide the CA

thanks for the suggestion in any regard, I'll consider it with a later edit. Cheers
