NGC 2736 1 and a bit nights

NGC 2736 The Pencil nebula.
I liked imaging this one and would like to get much more on it tonight if i can keeps my eyes open
7 hours and 11 minutes of 120, 180 and 300 second unguided subs from the original 8 hours and 6 minutes taken.
SkyWatcher ED80 achromat
ZWO533mc pro gain 101 @ -5 and -10 degrees
Optolong L-extreme 2" filter
ZWO Asi Air v1
went a bit nuts with the processing trying to get details

Nice work, but the ED80 is not an achromat.

Its nearly 20 years old Raymo, the old blue tubed one.
i always was under impression it wasn't an apo I'd be happy to stand corrected though mate

A scope doesn't have to be a triplet or quadruplet etc: to be classified as an APO.
The ED80, ED100, and ED120 have always been considered APOs, as a bit research will confirm.

A few things to be proud of with this result Tony, it's a really nice shot, well processed and you managed some 5min unguided subs @ 600mm focal length. Amazing! What mount were you using, is it the AZ-EQ6 GT?

Tony, I noticed this nebula in Stellarium, and didn't really like the look of it. But after seeing your photo, I am determined to give this one a shot. Your image is fantastic!! I've lost a couple of nights of imaging because of problems with my gear (coma, fingerprints on filters,...) and the weather hasn't been too good. Thor's Helmet is up next, and I think after that, the Pencil nebula. Thanks for the inspiration!

Btw, what processing tool(s) do you use?
