I never used to do any observing in winter, but I plan to this year.

These days apart from putting the scope on the mount, I never do observing outside - now it's turn on the stick PC and remote desktop
The only time I might need to venture outside is if sharpcap tells me my polar alignment is off.

I know some love being outside when they are observing, but I'm not one of them.

Martin, no, I will still be around here, and posting about SpaceX, etc.

That reminds me, there is heaps of news about the first orbital flight
