Pterodactyl v2.0

I took the recent clear nights we had to add more data to what I had already, so far there is just under 11 hours.

There are some funky stars top right which I though might've blended in when I stacked it, which was due to the filter being on the scope side of the reducer. I could've cropped it out but I do love the blue band in the bottom corner and kept faults and all.

Located in the Vela constellation this is part of quite a large area of Oiii and Ha rich gases with so many areas of interest, I got the area from Andy's Blue chilli and when looking at the framing wizard I saw this little pocket and thought I'll have you.

The top Oiii strip as well as the Ha in the middle to me looked like a Pterodactyl hence where the name came from.

Thanks for looking.

Karl

Thanks Paul, I was waiting to get more data before I posted after seeing your image. I'd like to get it printed to see how it turns out.

Thank you Robert, I am thinking for the next challenge is to mosaic that area I have planned it for an 8 panel. I think it'll be time to rid the palm tree that cuts my exposures down.

Thank you all for the comments, I'm pretty happy with how it all turned out and now considering going mono to really focus on the Ha,Oii and Sii. Watch this space...

It was marked as one of the 'Top Picks' in Astrobin which I am stoked about, next is APOD doubt it.
