This is last Thursday's attempted at Jupiter. Had to set the alarm for 12:45am to get my sorry arse out of bed, saving grace is the new observatory, just open the shutter and the way you go. No mucking around with setup.
So, this image was captured at 1:02am. Same setup, 12" LX200, ZWO224MC, 2x Powermate, UV/IR filter. About 14000 frames captured over 2 minutes. Processed with AutoStakkert, RegiStax 6 and GIMP for the final tweak. Just getting my head around GIMP so may be a bit heavy handed with the processing.
Anyway enjoy.
Cheers

That looks great Anthony!
The observatory must be an amazing addition and time and energy saver, everything where you want it when you want it.
I still use pavers set in a sloping back yard, repeatability is out of the question no matter what marks I punch into the stones. Not that I've had a scope out in the past 12 months from memory (health not lazy).
Nice pic Anthony and l think the processing well done. I’ve only ever used GIMP for a slight colour balance corrections and crop/resize so would be interested how you go with it
