Older C8 Celestron

Does anyone have any info on this model of C8. Also I will need to mount it on my eq5 so I will need advice on some sort of dovetail. Will I need to make one up. I have seen photos of sinilar c8's but all of them have beem with older Alt/Az type fork mounts. I do not think the current CG-5 dovetail will connect correctly. I have also called extravision and sent them pictures so they are going to get back to me also.

Regards
Kon

An orange tube from the 80's. You can download a pdf from the link below which gives a history of Meade and Celestron models.

I have one of these on the original fork mount plus a later (black) model on a Celestron (Vixen) SP mount.
The one for the SP mount uses a dovetail.

Let me know if you want pictures.
