Coverting FITS file

Hey there,

I am new to astrophotography and I have taken a series of shots in FITS file format. I just purchased a new Macbook Pro and Nebulosity is not working properly, along with some strange permissions issues where it is not allowing me to download a number of platforms that would enable me to convert the files I have to TIFF so I can use photoshop.

Any tips? Do you know of any online platforms that doesn't require any downloads until I figure out this new mac issue?

Thanks
Sara

You have to fix your mac issues first

Hi Sara,

Have you tried Quickfits on the Apple App store , you can load a Fits file and export it as a Tif.

I like it better than the standard fits viewer.

Hope thats some help
