Purchased new, this OTA is in overall excellent condition. One small scratch hidden away on the underside, 5mm or so in length & not deep. This telescope has had little use and would suit a fussy purchaser. Inspection welcome. Not willing to post, but can help with delivery to Metro Melbourne.
The objective has never been cleaned. It has not needed it, an indication of what little use this has had, and hence the reason for the sale. It's actually so clean it's quite a bugger to photograph! The metal lens hood/dew shield is not designed to be removed easily, but I did it to best show the condition of the objective.
Single speed 2" focuser is smooth. Comes with 1.25 adapter, 1.25" mirror diagonal, red dot finder, objective cap/s, nice solid pair of rings & dovetail. The dovetail does have some mounting marks, but I've purposely limited them to one side only. I do have some entry level eyepieces that can be negotiated to be included if required.
Reduced to $370, available Melbourne only.
I will negotiate as first priority the following additional accessories to a prospective buyer. These are not included in the price above.
- full aperture glass sun filter
- Astro-stuff non-marring 2" focuser adapter, with premium brass knobs
- Orion V-block filter 1.25"
