The mount has been professionally serviced (Advanced Telescope Supplies in Canberra) and the drive belts adjusted and DEC and RA motors cleaned and re-lubricated. Last service was Oct, 2019 (see attached images).
The counterweight shaft and counterweights show signs of surface rust as one would expect. The red finish of the mount is beautiful and blemish free.
To the credit of SW Bisque, the original double-lined box with Styrofoam insert is still OK and quite usable.
Why am I selling this fantastic mount? It’s 15 years old but operates flawlessly and as well as when I first purchased it. I became disabled following a catastrophic bicycle crash 11 years ago and am in the long process of simplifying my set up and downsizing.
