16th June. Sunspot groups

16th June, 3.20 UTC.

Lots of sunspot groups today (active regions are numbered). Looks like a new sunspot near the eastern limb.

Poor conditions with rain and cloud again today but I managed to get this single exposure image thru a small window of fairly clear sky.

Canon 550d camera, WO 81 mm refractor, herschel wedge.

Thanks for viewing. John W.

Hi John,

Good capture despite the conditions.
You poor Victorians seem to be hammered by the weather this winter!

Richard.
