ZWO 120MC-S and windows 10

Hiya all,
I've been using a 120MC-S with RSpec and once my computer updated to Win 10 it's been a pita. The two pieces of software work fine separately but they don't play well together.
I've got the latest drivers and added RSpec to Windows defender but it hangs a lot. Does anyone have an idea what could be causing this? The computer is an Alienware with i5 8GB ram and 256GB HD.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Cheers
Geoff

Hi Geoff,
Have you tried running the RSpec program in compatibility mode? Say Windows 7 (right-click the launcher icon, select Properties, then select the Compatibility tab).

Geoff,
I' ve used RSpec successfully under Win7 but now use BASS Project.
If pain persists, I'd suggest looking at BASS.

Thank you Jim and Ken. I shall try the compatibility mode first but then if that brings no joy I'll admit defeat and abandon ship and look at BASS or similar.
Cheers
