Takahashi Baby-Q FSQ-85ED

I am having a bit of an Astronomy clear out. This scope is guenuinly like new, rarely used and comes in a custom Pelican case. Setup cost $4,500 in 2011 (new costs about $6k at the moment). I never got into the wide field so I am going to move it on and invest in something else.

- Modified Four Element Double ED Petzval design eliminates astigmatism, coma, secondary spectrum, spherical aberration and field curvature.
- The Takahashi FSQ85ED F5.3 Astrograph Telescope provides over 200mm of backfocus to accommodate demanding applications.
- Outstanding flat field with 60mm image circle and accepts medium format CCD cameras or Digital SLRs.
- The Takahashi FSQ85ED F5.3 Astrograph Telescope includes 72mm rack and pinion focuser with built-in 360 rotatable camera angle adjuster.
- High order of color correction produces outstanding images and extremely fine visuals.
- The Takahashi FSQ85ED Refractor is airline portable at only 12.68 long!

A few good questions answered regarding the scope.

Finder Bracket
I have never used the finder bracket. I had it on a permanent mount. It would take a standard 50mm Finder.

Purchase History
I purchased it from OPT when in the US in Feb 2011 (bought it from the owner Craig personally). They never had the focal reducer in stock and sent it to me about 3 months later when it arrived.

Case
It all fits in the Pelican case (1520) that is 500mm wide, 400 deep and 230mm high.

Postage
I would estimate about $50-$70 delivery with insurance and tracking.

I have used it for 3-4 nights max as an imaging scope.
