Own Canon 350eosDSLR. Currently have white balance on auto when shooting deep space. Should i be setting white balance manually??

Hi Carl, if your 350d isnt modded, then you wouldnt need to set auto white balance. Although might be best if you do. grab a piece of white paper under sunlight, and take an image of it. then set that image as white balance. you might notice a slight difference afterwards.

Hi col, no you certainly can use auto white balancing for astro images, but to get a more accurate colour, you should do it. only takes a few second
