First Picture

Here is my first attempt at Trifid. Over 3 nights. Best 90% of 93 x 2mins lights. 15 each of darks, flats and dark flats each night. Using EQ6-R, SW 250 F4 scope, canon 600D unmodded, PHD2, DSS, Startools. Unfortunatley no coma corrector. I need a lot more practice at this. Rob.

You get much more experience at this and the experts will be shutting up shop and going home.

Thanks guys for your encouragement. Just tried to denoise it a bit in Startools. I think it is a bit better but loses detail.

A lot better than my first triffid and lots of colour. I think most of mine were just a pink smudge.

The right coma corrector does help if you can get the spacing just right according to the manufacturers recommendation.
